I’m Just Here to Deliver Takeout

Xie Wen runs a supermarket that's on the verge of going out of business.

To make ends meet, she has launched a fast courier delivery service.

Her only mode of transportation is a little electric scooter, but she can travel any distance, rain or shine.

She's the very picture of dedication and integrity!

But business never seems to pick up.

Debuffs like being directionally challenged and accident-prone give her a lot of trouble.

Asking for directions while dealing with accidents is exhausting,

and she still often gets complaints for late deliveries.

Life is hard, sighs Xie Wen.

Lately, the counseling office at the Anomaly Response Bureau has been rather busy:

The psychologist nudges his glasses up. Please describe your problem.

A: During a B-rank mission, I ran into an S-rank anomaly. A food delivery woman passing by on an electric scooter knocked the monster's head off with a rolling pin and saved me. Then she asked, "Sir, which way is south?"

I told my coworker, and he said I was crazy.

B: We were hunting an A-rank anomaly when we were ambushed by a group of anomalies. We thought we were done for, but a courier on an electric scooter passed by and smashed every anomaly's head with a crispy jujube. Then she leisurely rode over and handed me a handful of crispy jujubes. "Sir, how do I get to Gazi Village?"

After hearing my story, my coworker sent me to counseling.

C: During an S-rank mission, I encountered an SSS-rank anomaly. A delivery woman passing by on an electric scooter knocked it unconscious with the sole of her shoe, then asked me, "Sir, can you fix electric scooters? My delivery is about to be late!"

My coworkers don't believe anyone would ride an electric scooter to the top of a snowy mountain to deliver food. I don't believe it either...

Later, they finally met the woman who was said to deliver food on a little electric scooter. Only then did they learn what it meant to seem perfectly ordinary, yet be terrifyingly powerful.

-

Someone eventually asked, "Boss Xie, what kind of food do you deliver? Why do you always go to such strange places?"

Xie Wen blinked. "Am I allowed to say? Oh, the rules of the world won't let me?"

The worldbuilding is set. The heroine is the strongest character.

I'm not very good at writing blurbs. I may or may not tweak it a little before starting the story.
