Xiao Ming’s Adventures

More of What I Like, Vol. 2

The last list filled up, so I'm starting a new one.

Books I Won't Finish Unless I Buy the Full Version

A personal record of stories I couldn't finish but still think have their merits. I read all sorts of things, but tend to prefer no-romance stories, nonhuman characters, Fourth-Dimensional Disasters, fanworks, games, and funny vignettes.

Eating Such a Varied Diet Could Get You...

As long as the writing style suits my taste, I can enjoy any premise. I'll try anything, so I never deprive myself.

Apocalyptic and Wasteland Danmei

Supporting each other through the apocalypse. My personal rating scale: 5 stars for excellent writing and plot; 4 stars for above average; 3 stars for a time-killer.

Feel-Good, Comeback, and Face-Slapping Danmei

Some aren’t quite as satisfying, either. My personal rating scale: 5 stars for excellent writing and plot; 4 stars for above average; 3 stars for a time-killer.

Handsome Bottom Recs: Personal Ratings and Plot-Focused

Includes handsome bottoms, muscular bottoms, beautiful tops, and handsome tops. No beautiful bottoms. I prefer plot-driven stories, and love bottoms. There's ancient cultivation, farming, infinite flow, Western fantasy, modern, interstellar, and just about everything else. Not into bottoms topping.

Books I Think Are Good

I read all sorts of books and don't have many dealbreakers. The main thing is that they're good. I read both danmei and romance. Just for my own use.

Owned in Full [Quick Transmigration / Infinite-Flow Stories]

For my own reference, to check which books I’ve fully subscribed to

Pure Romance, Multiple POVs, Lots of Mutual Pampering

Devoted 1v1 couples who choose each other wholeheartedly. I’m not too fussy about either partner’s romantic history, as long as it makes sense. I may add or remove books at any time. If you’re particular or have strong preferences, this list may not be for you.

A Delicious Collection of Feel-Good, Satisfying Reads

Writing comes first. I love feel-good stories. These ratings are purely my own opinion!

Infinite Worlds and High Fantasy

Two categories, unfinished

Infinite-World Novels

I personally prefer stories with low overlap in their dungeon or worldbuilding concepts, and smart protagonists. I read BL or no-CP. Couldn't find a way to sort these, so the order doesn't mean anything.

For Rereading: Novels with Truly Stunning Prose

All completed and ready to binge. A mix of no-CP stories with male protagonists and shou-centric danmei. Updated from time to time, with a focus on less popular titles.

My Absolute Favorites

Keeping these for myself. There's a bit of everything, and I love them all so much I might reread them many times. Every book has its flaws, but I just love them!

Personal Records

Just an ordinary reader. I avoid stories with an overpowering fan-club vibe, and prefer plot-driven long reads. Romance is secondary for me. I dislike stories that revolve exclusively around the protagonist, and I like ensemble casts. Updates are slow.

Older Tops

He’s making a fuss, and he’s laughing. Not your typical story. My personal rating scale: 5 stars for excellent writing and plot; 4 stars for above average; 3 stars for a time-killer.

Infinite-Flow Stories

Mostly danmei

Power-Fantasy Infinite Worlds

A satisfying infinite-flow story.

Sweet, Plot-Driven, and Satisfying Reads I Recommend

Stories I enjoyed, though I might not reread them. There's still a bit of everything, from old favorites to current ones. Fellow fans are welcome to recommend each other stories!

Some BL I Like

Putting the good stuff I like in here

Infinite Flow, Post-Apocalyptic Quick Transmigration, and All Kinds of Fantasy Settings

Stories built around instances or episodic arcs, or with supernatural, mystery, and paranormal-world settings. Basically, stories with all kinds of unusual worldbuilding~ I'll update the comments with notes on ongoing reads and abandoned stories, haha.

Fantasy Pure Love I

This list is full. I'll add new books to Fantasy Danmei II, so feel free to follow it.

Infinite-Flow Horror, Supernatural, and Mystery

Only includes novels I've finished, or am currently following and know I'll finish.
