Rich Wife Retirement Rule 1: Don't ask, don't care.

Rich Wife Retirement Rule 2: Keep learning for as long as you live.

Rich Wife Retirement Rule 3: Save money! Save money! Save money!!!

Yan Ying: She ignores all the rumors, signs herself up for classes in all sorts of skills, joins the entertainment industry, and takes on several jobs at once!

Reporter: "As the wife of a wealthy man, you've also built a successful career of your own. Your only regret seems to be that your husband is a bit of a playboy. Do you have any advice for everyone?"

Yan Ying smiles as she pats the bank card in her pocket, and finally speaks from the heart:

"My husband is a good man. Sure, there are rumors about him everywhere and he hardly ever comes home, but he sends me money on time every month and cares about me. So, keeping the peace is what matters."

"We've heard that many outstanding men have approached you. Is that true?"

"They're just coworkers."

"Someone asked me to find out whether you've considered choosing a new partner."

"I have, but my savings aren't enough yet. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to give them the life they want..."

Shi Qing: "What has my wife been busy with lately?"

Assistant: "Your wife went on a reality show. She said keeping the peace is what matters. The host mentioned that many outstanding men are pursuing her... Your wife also said she'd considered divorce, but her savings aren't enough and she's afraid she couldn't give them the life they want..."

Shi Qing turns on the reality show and is stunned to see his wife explaining why she's working so hard to make money. Doing his best to stay calm, he says, "Book me a ticket. I'm going home."

Later, Shi Qing:

"Honey, I want that new watch..."

"Will you take me out for a candlelit dinner tonight?"

"I love you. Could you buy me an engagement ring?"

"Look, am I the pretty boy you have in mind? If I am, you can make me look even more like one..."

Yan Ying closes her eyes and wipes her nosebleed with a tissue. In a chilly voice, she says, "...I'm not that shallow. Besides, ours was just a fake marriage by agreement. You understand?"

Shi Qing, usually so gentle and restrained, instantly turns crimson-eyed... (To be continued)
