Club of the Dead [Infinite]

The thousand-year-old ghost Heng Shu was suddenly dragged aboard a smuggling ship bound for the "Dead People's Club." She was given a new identity: a pitiful woman whose heart had been cut out by her scumbag boyfriend for the sake of his white moonlight.

There were five other rookie players aboard.

Rookie mission: There's a real ghost on the ship, a shameless stowaway. Find it and throw it into the Sea of the Dead to feed the fish!

Heng Shu looked down at the card in her hand: [You are the real ghost. Stay hidden.]

The more horribly a player in the Dead People's Club died, the greater their potential and the stronger their abilities.

After excelling in her rookie mission, Heng Shu was courted by several guilds.

But one person dismissed her. "Died with your heart cut out? How bad could that be? We're looking for people who were skinned alive, dismembered, or tortured to death. Their potential has to be at least four stars!"

Heng Shu checked her potential rating. Only two stars. Fine, she supposed she hadn't suffered enough.

Then, in an extremely dangerous instance, just as the team was about to be wiped out, people watched helplessly as Heng Shu's strength kept climbing: three stars, four, five, six... With a single look, she scared the instance's boss into vanishing without a trace.

Later, someone finally worked up the nerve to ask, "Boss, just how horribly did you die back then?"

Heng Shu smiled. "Which time are you asking about?"
