The God of Deception Has Been Found Out [Western Fantasy]

In the divine realm, there was a name that made everyone who heard it keep their distance: Edwell, the God of Deception.

Edwell, a carefree troublemaker who loved watching the drama unfold, didn't care one bit about how people felt. He still charged straight into the business of provoking the mighty.

Then he ran into Fashir, the stubborn King of the Gods.

Fashir was famously cold and lethal, and rather boring.

Edwell just had to tease him.

He mangled the Book of Prophecies, scribbling nonsense all over it:

Fashir was destined to marry Edwell and make him his queen!

Everyone thought the King of the Gods wouldn't take it seriously, but...

Fashir: "All right."

Edwell: ??? And then he became a little crow perched atop the temple master's head, fond of wearing a top hat and carrying a cane.

The wedding that shocked the entire divine realm arrived right on schedule.

The next morning, the king awoke to find his little crow missing.

Edwell, who had fled with his tail between his legs, regretted it deeply. Very deeply:

If this really happened every day, he was going to die.

Unfortunately, he would eventually be caught by the all-knowing, ever-present King of the Gods.
