Because of a mysterious midnight movie ticket, Lin Bai ran into his ex-boyfriend at the cinema.
The man's expression was shocked, as though he had never imagined they would meet again.
He looked like a real jerk.
And Lin Bai acted accordingly:
He swung a hard punch at his ex-boyfriend, giving him the angriest possible response for walking out without a word six months ago.
Then... the cinema lights went out, and the movie began.

A man dressed in a white English-style suit took his hand and kissed the back of it. His beautiful eyes were filled with Lin Bai's reflection:
"Young Master Lin, long time no see."
Behind him stood a brightly decorated mourning hall, its funeral music cheerful. Paper figures on either side grinned with bloody mouths, their smiles strange and terrifying.

Beyond the iron gate, covered in thorns, lay a vast, withered estate and a floor strewn with shattered bones.
Lin Bai slowly walked forward. The butler behind him shielded him from the rustling, sinister wind and wiped the rust from his palm.

On the forbidden rooftop, locked shut, a thornless rose bloomed in red soil.
It was a tender gift from ghosts to the most beautiful thing in the world.
