The Unlucky Foil from the Parenting Variety Show Goes Viral

Gu Lin was born into privilege and had a successful career. When she joined a parenting variety show, she inexplicably discovered that she was the story's vicious cannon-fodder foil.

On this family-oriented show, where wealthy mothers raised their children, the other mothers were either gentle and considerate or patient teachers. Only Gu Lin seemed not to care whether her stepson lived or died, beating and abusing him until everyone was outraged.

As soon as the show ended, she was driven out of the entertainment industry. She was even reported and sent to prison, leading a miserable life.

Gu Lin looked at the hapless stepson fighting her for snacks and fell into deep silence.

She was just being a bit rough and playful with her son. How had that become abuse? It looked like it was time to make a serious effort.

When the show first aired, viewers said: "Vicious Gu Lin, get off the show! You think being big means you can bully little kids? Do you deserve to be a mom?"

Halfway through the show, viewers said: "Gu Lin's son is so mischievous, always pranking her. No wonder she gets so mad."

So the two of them had always split their snacks evenly. She wasn't skimping on his food at all.

After the show ended, Gu Lin and her stepson became a huge hit.

Hahaha, what a pair of hapless mother and son! They both went to tattle and ran into each other!

That little guy is so lucky to be raised by Gu Lin. They seem to bicker with Mom every day, but deep down, he loves her most of all.
