Reborn: Raising Kids in the Wasteland

[Cover art thanks to @Polygon Moon. Your art is absolutely gorgeous!] In his previous life, Jiang Rong and his son, Jiang Xiaoheng, were killed by beasts after the Great Calamity. When he wakes up, he has been reborn three months before it begins. Determined not to repeat the tragedy of his previous life, Jiang Rong grits his teeth, takes his son, and frantically stocks up on supplies and prepares for every eventuality. He even buys books on judo, taekwondo, sanda, and karate, hoping he might have extraordinary talent and become a martial arts prodigy in just three months. After the Great Calamity, a small number of people awaken special abilities. Jiang Rong was an ordinary person in his previous life, so he can only hope to improve his physical fitness and become a muscle-bound powerhouse people are afraid to mess with. But this doting dad is too delicate and soft. Three months later, Jiang Rong has learned nothing. He droops with disappointment, thinking he will have to spend his days hiding from people with special abilities while caring for his three-year-old son. To his surprise, he awakens a powerful ability: a wood-type power that lets him control mutant plants! Jiang Rong is overjoyed. But there's another surprise tucked inside this unexpected gift. Not long after the Great Calamity, he finds a handsome, unconscious man covered in muscles outside his home, along with another unconscious little one with a cold expression... Note: The kids are not the biological children of either lead, and neither lead has a partner. Upcoming novel: Reborn: Farming in the Wasteland.
