The story of Jiang Mo, the heroine's older brother in After I Quit, My Boss Became My Ex. Six years ago, Zhou Xia and Jiang Mo, the most popular childhood-sweethearts couple at Ice City No. 1 High School, broke up. Zhou Xia was the one who ended it. “Don't come looking for me again.” The boy picked up his fallen school uniform from the rain, soaked and disheveled. He looked back at her, his bloodshot eyes dead as a pool of stagnant water. “Who the hell would come looking for you?” That was the first time Zhou Xia had ever heard that top student and prodigy swear. She knew it was over between them. And that it had ended badly. Six years later. Zhou Xia returned to Ice City for work. She saw a man waiting outside her home, standing in the wind for two hours, and remembered what he'd said back then: “Thought you weren't going to come?” She heard the renowned university professor swear again. “Like hell I wasn't.” #Mutual pining, one-on-one romance. #A bittersweet story about two stubborn people who break up, then finally figure things out, only to find the other person is still there. Theme: Keep growing toward the light.
