Jiang Lili transmigrates into the apocalypse, only to arrive with late-stage cancer that has spread throughout her body. Her adoptive parents in this world abandon her in the forest to die.
Thanks to her unusual constitution and the basic skill of "turning paper into soldiers," Jiang Lili quickly gets back to her old trade in the apocalypse. She uses the poisonous miasma in the air to make huge numbers of paper dolls. They can act cute, they can fight, and Jiang Lili gradually grows rich.
But that's not the point!
To treat her illness and ensure her long-term development, Jiang Lili opens a shelter at the urging of the crappy System. She also actively (not really) takes part in all kinds of competitions and missions, such as posing as a superpowered person to fight "gulls" in an arena, joining an anti-riot squad, and rescuing all kinds of small animals from danger...
Jiang Lili realizes this world is a little messed up. First, the air is poisonous, the animals are intelligent, the zombies are powerful, and even side effects can level up. And people in particular... often turn into perverts!
One day, the usually composed and dignified captain flashes a wicked smile and gives her a smoldering look. A towering, muscular man suddenly becomes sentimental... Even Jiang Lili, who has no superpowers, is constantly provoked by the crappy System, which waves a light-up sign at her: "A tendency toward a complex mental disorder has been detected, and it appears to be worsening. Would you like a comprehensive evaluation??"
Jiang Lili: "???" Say that again? This is a side effect of using my ability, a side effect! Got it?!
And so things begin to go off course.
The shelter's animals get sick, and Jiang Lili has to go absorb some miasma. A superpowered person gets hurt, and Jiang Lili has to go absorb some miasma, too. Eventually, Jiang Lili realizes that the lineup of people waiting to be absorbed is a little strange. That person is standing among them, too. You've got it wrong. I'm a paper-doll master. This is a respectable profession.
The assorted folks waiting to be absorbed make heart shapes with their fingers: "No, we need you, little fairy who absorbs miasma!"
The crappy System: Why not try falling in love? That could unlock your potential, too!
Jiang Lili, who has never had that kind of experience in either world... is absolutely furious.
An apocalypse story with all kinds of elements thrown together, lots of original worldbuilding, and a lighthearted but serious tone.
Theme: The master rolls up her sleeves and gets to work in the apocalypse.
I like it very much, but I feel like no one is watching it.
Come on, use food to lure
Hey, I don't understand why the heroine's paper figurines from before she traveled through time were taken out.
