In her previous life, Qing Ran never dated anyone before she was hit by a truck in her twenties. This time around, even becoming a peach blossom immortal hasn't spared her a century of loneliness... So Qing Ran decides to take a dangerous chance, armed with the red thread she got from the Matchmaker.
Now, here's the good news and the bad news.
The bad news: Qing Ran wasn't paying attention, and a dog named Xiaotian swallowed the entire end of the red thread tied to her.
The good news: The dog's owner feels terrible about failing to keep Xiaotian in line and offers to make it up to Qing Ran himself.
Qing Ran: ...Thanks, but I really just want to cuddle Xiaotian?
