Reborn as a Movie Star in the Dark Continent

A clan's annihilation, a hatred etched into the heart, a man disguised as a woman, a tragic romance, eyes red as fire, an equal-armed cross, and a choice between life and death.

On set:

A golden-haired girl in a pure white dress, its hem and her hands stained crimson with blood. He straddles the man beneath him, clutching a sharp, slender shard of glass.

At last, he has slain the enemy who wiped out his clan. To get close to him, he disguised himself as a woman and catered to his tastes. Who could have guessed that this seemingly respectable man was actually the leader of the Spider? Who could know the dangers he faced as he tried to make the man lower his guard? And at this moment, Kurapika finally learns that the man has known his true intentions all along.

The man accepts it willingly, even knowing the boy's ultimate goal is to kill him. He watches the boy stumble his way closer, sees him wipe the blood-red from his eyes and replace it with a warm, sunny smile just for him. Gradually, the man finds himself truly falling in love. If he could, Chrollo would raise his drooping arm and gently caress the boy's face, just as he used to.

Off set:

The golden-haired boy drapes a shawl offered by an assistant over his shoulders, picks up a bottle of water with one hand and a newspaper with the other, and buries himself in reading. His fringe hides the face of the boy sitting in the chair, making his expression impossible to read.

The black-haired man, an equal-armed cross tattooed on his forehead, rests a hand on the armrest and sits beside the boy, expressionless as he stares straight ahead. After a while, he suddenly asks, "How did it feel to kill me?"

The boy doesn't look up, but the man can tell he glances his way. "I wish it had been real."
