The female lead grows over the course of the story and isn't perfect.
At first, she's immaturely arrogant, talking down to and lecturing others with self-righteous rudeness. (Her talent gave her the means to look down on others, but never taught her how to treat them as equals.)
In the middle, her vulnerable side comes to light, and she begins to grow after weathering hardship. (She gradually changes as she faces setbacks.)
By the end, she has her own unique perspective and ideas, and learns to appreciate and accept others. (She knows what path she wants to take in the future.)
Content warning: Yukimura's rehabilitation after surgery takes a long time, so he has fewer scenes during that period. The female lead is an ordinary person, with no special abilities to help the male lead recover quickly. He undergoes normal rehabilitation and won't overtrain or force himself to recover ahead of schedule.
