A Quick Transmigration Tribute to the Shining Sun

He is the blazing sun, a siren, the embodiment of chaos and beauty.

The mortals love him, the gods love him. They gaze upon him, yet are all trapped and unable to move within their dissipating, greasy, sticky, and vile ambitions.

They cannot have him; nothing can be gained. Better to drag him into an endless revel.

He lives each day as if it were his last, heading straight toward death.

Hush. Stare too long, and you'll go mad.

What shall you offer him?

Your body, your soul, all your love and humble longing.

Loving him is a game destined to end in failure.

I'm trapped in a drought of top-focused stories, so I might as well make my own.

No pairing in the ending.

Theme: For the sake of freedom, what can't one give up?
