Bian Yu took a job as a bodyguard for a CEO, with the added requirement that he pass as human and not reveal his identity.
Bian Yu: Easy.
But Bian Yu was clueless about social norms, had no idea what counted as normal, and was ridiculously strong. On his very first day, he made the CEO fall into his car.
He'd rushed over because he was late and crashed into the car door as the CEO was getting in. With his head slightly bowed and his face red, Bian Yu held the handle he'd just ripped off and apologized. “It... broke!”
It was all because he was a jade spirit, and far too hard!
Just imagine: could the love interest break, too? (Not really.)
Lu Siyan was assigned a new bodyguard. The man would yelp in pain for ages if even a sheet of A4 paper gave him the tiniest cut.
He also said his skin was precious, and that every strand of his hair was worth a fortune.
On top of that, he blushed at the drop of a hat, and would cry if Lu Siyan spoke to him a little too loudly.
Lu Siyan was baffled. “He's so delicate? Which one of us is supposed to be protecting the other?”
Well, whatever. He could treat it as creating jobs and contributing to society.
Lu Siyan complained about his new bodyguard while letting him do whatever he wanted.
But once, after the frail bodyguard, who was half a head shorter than him, saved his life, Bian Yu dragged Lu Siyan away.
Thinking back on Bian Yu's fight, Lu Siyan felt a little fish flick its tail in his heart. His heart fluttered.
But wait!!! Why were all the passersby saying that this handsome young man carrying adult products in a fertilizer sack was obviously trying too hard to cover it up???
What products? Him?
Lu Siyan quickly accepted this premise. Him? Was he into that?

Bian Yu noticed that his boss had started playing with walnuts lately. And the closer Bian Yu got to him, the faster the walnuts spun, until sparks flew.
Bian Yu: Is he training his grip so he can get revenge and beat me up?
Not at all. Lu Siyan simply liked jade, and had happened to discover that his new bodyguard's skin was even lovelier than the finest white jade.
His hands itched! It was like he had developed a touch starvation.
-
Later, Lu Siyan spent the entire night touching Bian Yu, demonstrating through hands-on experience what it meant that “jade must be carved to become a fine vessel.”
He worked him over again and again, shaping him into all sorts of forms he liked.
