After Abandoning My Owner, I Became a Cat in a Cage

The first time Qiao Ying got into a fight, he was covered in bruises and curled up in a corner of an alley when a man took him home.

The man cleaned his wounds, cooked for him, and let him stay at his place. Once Qiao Ying recovered, he left all the money he had and walked away.

The second time he was injured and had nowhere to go, he thought of that address again. The man opened the door, asked no questions, and let him in once more. The man was a painter, and Qiao Ying posed for him as a model. After getting paid, Qiao Ying disappeared again.

From then on, the man's gallery became an occasional place for Qiao Ying to stay. He came when he was hurt, when he was short on money, and when he was feeling down.

He had never planned to stay for long. Then one day, when he came and went as he pleased as usual, he found that the gallery's lock had been changed.

And this time, the painter who always looked at him so gently did not smile.

Shen Xi found a stray cat, a dusty gray but beautiful stray cat.

The stray cat was a bad one, always abandoning its owner now and then. It only came rubbing up against him when it was starving or hurt, meowing a couple of times before eating its fill and leaping over the wall without looking back.

Shen Xi waited patiently, but the stray cat never learned to stay.

So one day, he gently closed the window.

The game was over.
