Starting from Character Creation

Traditional MMORPG (crossed out), fantasy adventure

A note before we begin: This is a new writer's work. Female-centered, from a woman's perspective, with many female characters. I often revise late at night and update late at night.

After Chu Ci injured her hand, she could no longer exert herself for long periods.

When someone disappears from the internet, it never matters much. No one notices a single drop falling silent in the ocean.

Until many years later, she received an invitation to a game beta test, supposedly sent by a fan.

It was a new wave sparked by the world's first full-dive online game.

Some scoffed that it was just an old-fashioned MMORPG with a new coat of paint, and wondered why anyone was making such a fuss over it.

But on launch day, against everyone's expectations, the servers were nearly overloaded.

People who had once been scattered across the world returned to their youth that day.

Before long, a post appeared on the forum and instantly shot to the top:

[Help! Why are all the girls I flirt with either old ladies or old men!!!!!]

Meanwhile, Beifang posted with mixed feelings: [Help! What do I do after killing my unrequited love in the game?]

"A player is someone who, from the moment they begin creating their character, looks forward to the game and takes every detail seriously. Whether their eyebrows look good, whether their name sounds nice. How to earn one more copper coin, how to figure out the fastest way to level up. Laughing proudly with friends, getting revenge on rivals. Fighting other players over a piece of equipment, then joining a battle involving thousands. That's what a player is. The game is their life." - Ye Ci
