The Legend of Yingzhou

There are five countries in this world: Yingzhou in the east, Kun in the south, Lian in the west, Feng in the north, and Hua in the center. The five countries were locked in long-running wars, taking turns as the dominant power. Two hundred years ago, King Jingxuan of Hua, in the central region, unified the five countries through his outstanding civil and military leadership. He named the new state Long. For the next two hundred years, the empire prospered and its people lived in peace. But a year ago, King Zheng of Feng died, and the crown prince suddenly disappeared. Overnight, Long collapsed and split into four, giving rise to the current balance of power among Yingzhou, Kun, Lian, and Feng. The once-prosperous Long Empire was no more, and even the territory of its predecessor, Hua, was divided among the four countries. Of them, the most powerful is now the wealthy eastern nation of Yingzhou, which commands a long coastline. Its ruler, King Boyue, is a handsome man with golden hair and watery blue eyes.
