Spring Warmth

On her way to cello lessons, Song Jiyin saved a girl who was about to take her own life. By chance, the girl transferred into her class and became her deskmate.

Qi Zhiwang: ...I really was just acting on impulse.

Putting aside all that annoying "inspirational advice," Song Jiyin really did bring a lot of happiness into her life. She couldn't say when it began, but a single smile from Song Jiyin was enough to make all of Qi Zhiwang's negative feelings dissipate. Gradually, a tangle of emotions grew in Qi Zhiwang's heart, impossible to unravel, until one night she happened to see her own name scrawled on Song Jiyin's draft paper, followed by a messy sentence:

Could I have fallen for her?

Qi Zhiwang froze.

"...Are you serious?"

"Qi Zhiwang likes Song Jiyin. Very seriously."

At first: An aloof, introverted transfer student x a warmhearted tomboy and Chinese class representative

Later: A supposedly proper, secretly flirty top student whose real personality has fallen apart x a blushing girlfriend with a very active inner monologue who melts at the slightest tease
