Jiang Li is tall and long-legged, fair-skinned and beautiful, and excels at both singing and acting, yet he's a male entertainer languishing at the bottom of the entertainment industry.
Gu Jinjin has sifted for gold in the waves of the entertainment world. As Jiang Li's devoted fan, her greatest wish is for her idol to become a top-tier star.
As a part-time worker for the "Are You Tempted?" app, Gu Jinjin never imagined that an assignment would take her to the home of her idol, Jiang Li.
Committed to her professional ethics, she resists the urge to ask for a photo and autograph, and diligently completes her part-time job.
She thought their interaction would end once the assignment was done, but an unexpected quarantine notice leaves Gu Jinjin at a loss.
Jiang Li, a kind-hearted and good-natured young man, has no choice but to take her in.
One day, beneath a post on a well-known forum titled "What's it like living with your idol?" someone posts:
"Thanks for asking. I'm living at my idol's place right now."
The comments are full of mockery, ridiculing the poster for daydreaming and being delusional.
But the poster keeps publishing one comment every day.
DAY 1: Big brother is so kind, he actually took me in. I'm so touched, sob!
DAY 2: Big brother is gorgeous. He looks ten times better in person than on screen. Today is another day I want to swing from his eyelashes.
DAY 3: Big brother's manager is so awful, always making him act in terrible dramas. Hmph.
DAY 4: Someone stole another one of big brother's advertising deals. It's another sad day.
As the thread grows longer, more and more people follow it, and everyone gets into the habit of waiting for an update each day.
Later, netizens notice that the poster, who had been updating daily without fail, hasn't posted in a long time.
"Poster, where did you go? Come back and update already."
"Please update soon. I miss big brother so much."
"Did the poster get sent to a psychiatric hospital? It's hilarious that they fantasize about living with their idol."
Amid all the speculation, one reply gradually rises to the top:
"Just saying, doesn't the poster's story sound a lot like the recent viral story about Jiang Li and his new manager?"
This reply draws mockery from countless netizens.
"Leave big brother alone. Don't drag him into this."
"Do you think Jiang Li is a mahjong tile? Everyone wants to claim him!"
"Could this be the poster's alt account? Making up a story and acting it out themselves?"
The netizens refuse to believe it, until Jiang Li's account likes the comment.
