My new neighboring novel, Puppy Love Letter, is now underway. A brash young master versus a mild-mannered good girl.
Please add it to your library!
A cocky, sharp-tongued, tsundere rich kid × a seemingly composed, sharp-tongued beauty
1. The summer after the college entrance exams, Jiang Qi and Xia Zhi became the envy of everyone in their class: they started dating after graduation and got into universities in the same city.
They'd been the couple everyone had high hopes for, but soon after school began, news of their breakup spread. After blocking each other, they truly went their separate ways, each taking the high road. Whoever looked back first would be a dog.
No one knew why. They only heard that Jiang Qi had spent all night standing outside Xia Zhi's building, begging her to get back together.
2. Xia Zhi had imagined countless ways she might run into Jiang Qi. The most awkward one would be this:
He was driving a supercar, while she was pedaling a tricycle.
Xia Zhi silently lowered the straw hat over her forehead and slipped away.
Half an hour later, she saw Jiang Qi walking over with someone and stopping in front of her. His sunglasses slid down his nose, revealing clear, smiling peach-blossom eyes. “Why'd you run when you saw me? Can't forget me?”
“Yes.” Xia Zhi nodded without changing her expression. “Even when I pass a funeral home, I think the dead person is you.”
Jiang Qi fell silent for three seconds, then turned his head and let out a quiet scoff. He drew out the last word, sounding utterly smug. “I had no idea you had such deep feelings for me.”
Xia Zhi: ?
“Unlike me. I almost forgot your last name.”
The friend beside them: ?
Isn't that the girl in your wallet?
And that wasn't the only “coincidence.” She had to bail her ex out of the police station in the middle of the night, ran into him on a blind date, and found out her landlord was her ex.
When Xia Zhi finally calmed down enough to face their relationship as it stood...
Jiang Qi gripped her chin and gave a cold laugh. “Want to draw a line between us? I've been living with you all this time without a title, and my reputation's already ruined. The least you can do is...”
He didn't finish. She listened intently as Jiang Qi leaned down, his warm breath brushing her ear. His low, husky voice mingled with the night, restrained yet almost enticing. “Make me official, Zhizhi.”
Xia Zhi looked up and met his deep eyes, nearly drowning in them.
Bonus scene:
When Xia Zhi saw the man dragging a suitcase right into the new place she'd just rented, she was furious. “I don't want to share a place with a man, especially not you.”
Xia Zhi couldn't do anything about Jiang Qi, so she could only hope he had at least a little shame.
But the man across from her had none. He sat leisurely on the sofa, as steady as a rock, and casually tossed out a line:
“You can just think of me as one of the girls.”
“...”
#They got back together because the mirror was never broken to begin with#
The early chapters weave in memories from high school, making up about a quarter of the story. The rest takes place in the city.
One-on-one romance / one true pairing / happy ending
An unconventional groveling romance, a lighthearted, goofy, sweet story, with a cohabitation trope.
Important: Some details about the characters' jobs are fictionalized. Readers who want strict accuracy, beware!
My next novel will be Paper Airplane. Please add it to your library!
Coming in December!
Scheming, sharp-tongued childhood friend × unbelievably oblivious childhood sweetheart
Cool guy × sweet girl
At sixteen, Li Xiang stood on the balcony in Nanque Lane and threw a paper airplane bearing her written wish high into the sky.
The paper airplane's flight path was knocked off course by a gust of hot wind, and it landed right in the boy's hand.
Li Xiang frowned at him for a long moment, but her gaze was still unfamiliar. “Hey, handsome, who are you?”
Shi Xian stood beneath the parasol tree, one eyebrow slightly raised. He gently ran his thumb over the crease in the paper. They'd only been apart for a few years. Had she really forgotten him?
At school, someone said Li Xiang's dimples were cute.
Shi Xian shot them a cold look. “Like them? Want me to poke a couple into your face with a screwdriver?”
His deskmate asked for Li Xiang's WeChat.
Shi Xian replied without mercy, “She uses an old person's phone. She doesn't have WeChat.”
He kept putting him off, making his deskmate suspicious. “Are you jealous?”
Shi Xian scoffed. “You're overthinking it. She's just the girl next door.”
Later, Li Xiang grew closer and closer to the new transfer student in their class. Everyone noticed that Shi Xian's expression kept getting darker.
Someone deliberately struck a nerve. “Your girl next door is about to become someone else's.”
Dark currents swirled in Shi Xian's black eyes. “Didn't you hear the important part? She's mine.”
His restless heart was hard to suppress, and jealousy grew like weeds.
It felt as if someone else had connected to his home Wi-Fi. It annoyed him to no end.
To win back his childhood sweetheart, Shi Xian shamelessly followed Li Xiang around. Everyone saw him copying her way of coaxing people. “Abracadabra, please like me just a little, Xiangxiang!”
*
In Li Xiang's eyes, Shi Xian had an ETC personality. He especially loved arguing with her.
When he got on her nerves, she snapped, “You pest! I'm cutting off our friendship today. We're not speaking for five minutes!”
“Do you hate me again?”
The boy curled his lip playfully, smiling indulgently. His low, rich voice was teasing. “Little blockhead, that sounded a lot like you were flirting with me.”
“Flirting with your sister! Have I been too nice to you?!”
“You've been nice to me? Then let me kiss you.”
Theme: Live well
A very good novel [Sahua] describes the campus. The dialogue between the male and female protagonists is really in line with high school life. However, the campus is a bit long, and overall it is longer than the post-work chapter. I think the main subject should be placed after the work. Although the campus life is good, the priorities still need to be distinguished (if this is a medium-length article, if the follow-up is still long, pretend I didn't say it). Next is the supporting role of Chu Yuhan. I feel like she's a villain? After being saved by 80, he becomes sexually attracted to the heroine, but later he will be influenced by the hero's few words. So after being reformed, have you really changed for the better, realized your mistakes, and apologized to the heroine? The character of the male protagonist in Chapter 18 is okay, and his views are quite upright, which is something that many novels cannot feel. (The characters written by the author can reflect the author himself. From this point of view, the author has a very good outlook on life [Spread Flowers])
Good guy, even though I'm crazy about it, this wet man's ghost smell is also unbeatable.
Hahahaha, this assistant's complaints are so funny
Thank you writer! [Compare hearts][Compare hearts] Thanks for the limited fee!
"Everything is just his own doing..." This is a big bug for the author~
This plot is really blunt and bloody
It's a boring game, and you won't tell the truth, so why bother writing it?
Damn, the author is crazy about adding highlights to the main character, so the guard doesn't know how to call the police? Doesn't the teacher know her husband's virtues and doesn't know how to call the police or ask the guard to call the police? The senior high school student taught by the teacher is about to take the college entrance examination. Doesn't the school know how important this teacher is now? Don't you protect yourself?
The heroine's parents dote on her so much, why do they let her go on a blind date after only two years of working?
Write quickly, write quickly, write quickly
