In the third week of my crush on Mr. Amuro, I finally worked up the courage to invite him to help with my writing. He had several jobs and looked like he could really use the money.
The model for the protagonist, who is forcibly adored by all sorts of bystanders, is the annoying boss who always makes my brother work overtime. I don't know his real name, but his surname is Furuya. The most brutal of the bystanders is called GIN, modeled after the demon I made a contract with.
I left out as much of the non-all-ages material as I could while telling him the general plot. But for some reason, the man who had seemed so interested gradually fell silent as the story went on.
"Miss Naru, you said your surname was... what again?"
"Hm? My surname is Kazami. I'm Kazami Naru!"
Afterward, a certain Public Security officer with the same surname was forced to work overtime for an entire month.
[Old Blurb]
As GIN gradually lost his fearsome reputation and became a laughingstock, the GIN Demon, born from people's fear of GIN, resolutely traveled to the world of its origin. There, it struck a contract with me, a chronic invalid who ended up in the hospital every time I stayed up all night, and promptly settled in for a life of doing nothing.
It wanted the name "GIN" to become that of a fearsome villain known around the world. I wanted to become strong enough to beat up the despicable boss who kept exploiting my brother and making him work overtime.
After we signed the contract, it fused with my body, and then... my hair turned white overnight.
Given my constitution and professional skills, I made GIN a website publicizing his crimes. It was full of unsolved cases and urban legends I had carefully picked out of the newspapers:
A body with no known identity and no evidence left behind? GIN killed them.
A billion-yen robbery where the culprit killed himself? GIN's organization planned it.
A high school detective who suddenly vanished and was presumed dead? GIN did it.
A fire that suddenly broke out in a hotel wine cellar? GIN started it.
...Who knows if he really did any of it? I don't even know him.
But in my writing, he's the Napoleon of the criminal underworld! The Moriarty of Beika City!
Anyone who fears Gin is a dear friend of mine, even if we have different parents!
Never overlook even the smallest evil. Don't let the little things around you slide, either...
Today, GIN jaywalked!
Today, GIN drove drunk!
Today, GIN stole an old lady's seat!
It was a long time before I found out that, under the demon's influence, whenever inspiration struck, my thoughts became extremely similar to GIN's. Which meant everything I wrote was actually... true!
So why have I recently been dreaming about doing all sorts of things with the cafe employee I'm pursuing? Could those be GIN's deepest desires, too?
Rum: You've been pretty conspicuous lately, Gin.
Gin: ...
Rum: I hear you've been driving drunk and jaywalking.
Gin: ...
Rum: And stealing old ladies' seats on the train.
Gin: ...
Rum: How does this person know so much? Has Vodka betrayed us?
Vodka: ?!
· GIN is the one who gets picked on. The love interest is the sunny and handsome Rei.
· The heroine is Kazami's younger sister. When Rei isn't around, she's a devoted big sister-con; when he is, both siblings are devoted Rei fans.
· The demon concept is inspired by Chainsaw Man. I only borrowed some elements and am not combining the settings. There are no other demons. In this story, the more fearsome GIN's reputation becomes, the stronger the heroine gets in every way.
· The Police Academy group will be brought back. The timeline includes some original changes.
· The characters belong to the original work. Any out-of-character behavior is my fault.

Theme: Get a little stronger every day, and someday your dreams will come true.
