One day, Ya Ji, an interstellar commander, transmigrates into a cultivation world riddled with transmigrators.
This is also a world made up of countless novels, whose protagonists have their fortunes stolen again and again by transmigrators, causing the Heavenly Dao to teeter on the brink of collapse.
Ya Ji's mission from the System is to reclaim the transmigrators' golden fingers and preserve the original plot.
Ya Ji nods lazily. Easy. She'll just slack off.
And so everything starts going off the rails:
The once upright and spirited young sword immortal declares, "Forgive my frankness, but every single person here is trash."
Later, he calmly counts the heads in the pit, then turns to Ya Ji and asks, "Sister Ji, are we going through the motions this time, or should I finish them off?"
With the red sun hanging behind her and yellow sand filling the sky, Ya Ji silently looks up and says, "It's getting cold. Sect XX is going bankrupt."
The transmigrator with the once-beloved-by-all halo arrogantly taunts, "Foolish cultivators, feel my charm! I'm guaranteed to win this tournament."
Later, Ya Ji pins her to the ground with a greatsword, sits on top of her, and calmly asks her supporters, "What'll it be? One at a time, or will you vote for us?"
The transmigrator with the once-green-tea System says, "Senior brothers, don't blame Big Sister. She didn't mean to do it."
Later, Ya Ji happens to pass by, casually reclaims the golden finger, and "accidentally" gives the little green tea a bump or two.
When the senior brothers blame Big Sister, veins bulge on her forehead. She points angrily at Ya Ji, who's standing nearby in a daze, and says, "She's right there. Why aren't you blaming her?"
The senior brothers pause. Ya Ji gives them a kindly smile, and they immediately turn around and head back.
"It's such a nice day today." "Yeah, what a bright sun."
These and all sorts of other changes leave the cultivators and transmigrators of the cultivation world furious and helpless.
Having successfully stirred up a hornet's nest, Ya Ji keeps a low profile. Just as she's about to slip away without a sound,
the young sword immortal suddenly grabs her. He looks everywhere except at her, blushing as he asks, "Um... do you think I'm suitable?"
Ya Ji is confused. "Suitable for what?"
The sword immortal turns bright red. "A Dao companion."
