On August 20, the incoming first-year students arrived early for military training.

His eyes swept up and down Qi Yue like laser beams, taking in every detail. After examining him for a long while, he said, with earnest regret, "Sorry, I thought you were a middle schooler who'd wandered in by mistake. If you're a first-year, then I guess you don't have much room left to grow?" He shook his head and added regretfully, "I just wanted to meet your parents first. You're a little short, but a bit of care and feeding should help you grow."

Everyone was stunned! What had the senior just said? Had he really been examining someone so closely to figure out whether his junior could still get taller?
