Dangerous Advances

Lin Chuqing was the sort of ordinary passerby who would disappear into a crowd in an instant. She wasn't tall, her figure was average, and she was reasonably easy on the eyes, but she wasn't beautiful enough to make a living off her looks. Nor was she clever enough to make a living off her brains.

The main reason was that she wasn't cut out for studying, and after exhausting herself, she only managed to get into a junior college.

After graduating, she went through a lot of trouble to find a job in property management at a villa community, where she spent all day working like a beast of burden to serve the wealthy.

The work was dull and monotonous, until she accidentally fell in love at first sight with one of the residents.

He was only a few years older than her, but unbelievably handsome and radiating a sense of wealth. Every move he made exuded irresistible charm, perfectly hitting all her buttons.

She knew her place and understood he wouldn't be interested in an ordinary person like her. She took advantage of her job to feast her eyes on him, secretly watch his life to satisfy her curiosity, and indulge in fantasies about him at night.

But she underestimated her own darker side. As her obsession grew, she began to think of him as her private property. Sometimes she couldn't stop herself from following him, spying on his life outside the villa community and seeing who he spent time with. She even got his WeChat, made up a false identity to add him as a friend, and chatted with him from time to time, losing herself in it.

But the good times didn't last. Disaster struck when someone with connections took her job.

After she left, she lost the access her job had given her to spy on him. Her life became difficult after she lost her income, and one day, while she was frantically looking for work, he suddenly messaged her:

[Haven't seen you lately]

[What, don't like following me anymore?]

[Or have you been busy with something?]
