A Secret Love Affair in Deep Cover

As an excellent spy sent by the Empire to infiltrate the Federal Military Academy, Lantier accidentally fails a field-training mission one day and is forced to plunge off a cliff while being pursued by the enemy. Fortunately, the deep waters at the bottom of the cliff save Lantier's life. But after finally struggling ashore, Lantier is surprised to find himself in a strange and unfamiliar place. The seaside manor he sneaks into appears to be hosting a banquet. He enters a lounge with a sign saying "Under Repair" on the door, but a strange reaction overtakes his body, and he weakly slides down against the wall. By all common sense, this must be his heat. Lantier grits his teeth. But that shouldn't be... Just as Lantier's physical reaction grows more and more intense and his consciousness begins to fade, a blond, dark-skinned young man dressed as a waiter pushes open the door... Please note (highlighted): This is a Detective Conan fanfic with an original protagonist who is the receiving partner. The pairing is Bourbon, and out-of-character characterization is a given. The author's writing is poor, updates are irregular, and this is a short-to-medium-length writing exercise. Theme: Even a rose in troubled times should grow toward the sun.
