The Demon's Code

Shuten Doji. A race of demons said to have a handsome appearance and immense power, known as the Oni Kings. Each new Oni King is unmatched in the demon realm. They don't even need to hunt for food, since lesser demons naturally bring them offerings to curry favor That was all in the past… In modern society, humans have somehow been inspired to invent all kinds of weapons. Bullets are easy enough to stop with a barrier of demonic power, but if there's a disturbance, a minor problem is that meddling Taoist priests will show up. A major problem is that humans might use an atomic bomb without hesitation… Demons may be powerful, but even they can't stand up to the force of that kind of explosion… Sigh… It's tough getting by in today's world… Yin Chenyi, one of the newly appointed Oni Kings, has been living as a vegetarian for 200 years, and counting. So I dug this story back out again, hahaha… [beaten to death] The old setup felt like it was trying a little too hard to be funny… I wanted to write something a bit more serious, so I rewrote the whole thing [hey] Don't expect updates, this thing… Anyway, it's not abandoned. I just dig the hole with an excavator and fill it in with a spoon, hahaha [smashed to death]
