When she thanked him, Jiang Jinheng casually replied, “It was nothing. Don't mention it.”

Later, “Don't mention it” turned into “I have a favor to ask.”

They've been married for almost six months, and Xie Qingli thinks their marriage should come to an end.

“Divorce? Have you forgotten how I kissed you right here the other night?” Jiang Jinheng says languidly, his long fingers rubbing her collarbone. His touch is gentle, but his possessiveness is unmistakable.

Xie Qingli is at a loss for words. That night, he makes her revisit that gesture more than ten times.

In the middle of the night, half-asleep, the man gently bites her ear and murmurs in a lazy, low voice, “Don't ever say those two words again. Do you hear me?”

A faint blush colors Xie Qingli's cheeks. She buries her face against his neck and softly murmurs assent.
