Shen Mi is the owner of "The Infinite Reboot Company," which offers a "start your life over" service. As long as you clear the challenges in certain worlds, you can return to any point in time you choose and live your life again.

He runs the business in peace, tucked away in the mountains, until one day Shen Yin, head of the Unusual Occurrences Investigation Bureau, opens the company's old wooden door and says thoughtfully:

"There's been a surge in mysterious disappearances in recent years. People vanish without a trace, alive or dead. Our investigation found that they all visited a place called the 'Infinite Reboot Company.' Boss Shen, care to explain?"

Shen Mi finally manages to talk the investigating Shen Yin into leaving, then hurries to bring out the guests he'd hidden away and begin the "entry ceremony" before the auspicious hour passes.
