Old Dreams of Sydney

Years later, Wen Qiuli would wonder: if she hadn't bought a rose from the little girl while watching the fireworks at Darling Harbour that night, would things have turned out differently?

Romance novels told her that a playboy would eventually see the error of his ways, but reality told her otherwise: a playboy never comes back.

"Shen Wen'an's heart is a block of ice. She'll never be able to melt it."

Wen Qiuli was silent for a long while, then said calmly, "If it snows in Sydney on Christmas Day, I think I'll come back."
