Mom Goes to School for Me

Here is the blurb for this story.

One morning, Xia Qiling woke up to discover that she and her mother had swapped bodies.

The good news was that nothing else had changed besides their souls switching places. The bad news was that school was about to start.

Xia Qiling looked at her mom. "How about we talk this over?"

Little scene:

Xia Qiling once wished to grow up and become free, but God must have heard only the first half of her wish.

She grabbed her mom. "Mom, I'm begging you, at least pass your monthly exams. Do you know how stressed I was when I got that call from your teacher?"

Liang Yan grasped her hand just as gravely. "Honey, work hard. If they dock any more from our pay, we'll have to go hungry!"

Life had never been this hard!

What's it like to get a notice from your teacher about a parent-teacher meeting and then see your mom's grades ranked near the bottom?

Xia Qiling never thought she'd have to nag her mom to study hard one day.

Xia: "I've explained this formula three times already. Why don't you get it?"

Liang: "This is high school material. I only made it through ninth grade. How could I understand it?"

Xia: "Ninth grade is followed by high school!"

Liang: "Ninth grade in the last century."

Liang Yan was a whiz at housework. She never imagined her daughter would be such a good-for-nothing around the house.

She could break three plates while washing a basinful, and she couldn't even wash vegetables properly. What was she supposed to do with her?

Liang: "You told your boss you want a week off?"

Xia: "It's the best choice based on the circumstances."

Liang: "Tell me the truth!"

Xia: "I was late today, and I broke a few plates. They docked fifty yuan from my pay."

When I grow up, I'll become you!?
