A Mafia Member Among the Bat Family [Western Crossover]

After parting ways with Mr. Reborn, I was taken home by a Gotham rich guy. He claimed to be my biological father. Tsk, do I look that easy to fool? ...Darn it, maybe he really is. I quickly accepted the setup and tried to get along with my new family of brothers and sisters. They had a secret they were all keeping from me, but I didn't care. I hadn't told them either that I'd joined some seafood family and become a Mafia member. All I cared about was when Mr. Reborn would come to get me. As time went by, I could only look at things that reminded me of him. My old man pointed at the ring on my finger and tentatively said, "Nice accessory." I honestly told him it was my engagement ring. Father: "...Who?" I immediately perked up. "The world's number one hitman!" I thought I heard something shatter. With the whole family getting ready to go out and fight, only my father remained calm. He thought for a moment, then asked, "Deathstroke?" Me: "What kind of nobody is that?!" Father: "Don't swear. And his name?" I clasped my hands to my cheeks and smiled sweetly. "He's my Mr. R." ??? Did I say something wrong? Why do they all look like they want to beat me up?! Notes: * The main story is not in first person! * So far it crosses over DC and KHR. We'll see about the rest~ * Apologies in advance for out-of-character portrayals. * The pairing is Reborn. * The girl used to kill people, but changed after Old Man Wayne took her home. * A little disclaimer: Deathstroke is great and very strong. I don't dislike him. The girl is just an over-the-top fan, imagine a Harley Quinn type (not really). Theme: Life is beautiful
