# You stand alone above the clouds, while I come bearing a world of mountains and rivers #
Though she was born into the prestigious Ge family, the second young lady, Ge Yaner, was no pushover. With her high cultivation and considerable talent, she was selected to compete in the sect's tournament, and so her days became filled with one fight after another. She injured the sect's guards, secretly studied forbidden arts from the Forbidden Pavilion, and even crippled a fellow disciple's spiritual sense at the tournament before kicking them down the mountain.
Everyone thought no one could rein in her unruly temper, until the day the sect fell into turmoil. Ge Yaner used a forbidden art she had learned in secret to sacrifice her left arm and force the sect-protecting formation to activate. Covered in blood, she stood in front of her senior sister, ignoring the blood about to spill from her lips. She looked back with a hazy smile. "Senior Sister, shall we leave together?"
Mei Zhilian, one of Lingxiao Sect's core disciples, was said to be cold and aloof, surrounded by snow that swirled freely around her. Only on that day, when the flames of the sect's rampant fire leaped into the sky and crimson light shone across the mountains, did she gaze at the person before her with reddened eyes. The ice in her gaze melted into water, shimmering with tenderness.
Proud, ruthless, sensitive, and fiercely loyal X cold, gloomy, and obsessive, yet a gentle ice queen
◎ One-on-one romance, happy ending
◎ Both leads are rather awkward, so the romance may be a slow burn
◎ The worldbuilding contains lots of original additions, and there will probably be a sequel
◎ The blurb sounds serious, but feel free to point out any problems, haha. Thank you!! Students who need daily updates, please beware!
