The Crown Prince's Frail General [Reborn]

As the Great Yan Kingdom's God of War and Seventh Prince, Zhou Linzhao died beneath an imperial edict on the day he returned victorious.

As he drifted about after death, he discovered many interesting things.

For example:

His emperor father wasn't his real father, and his mother consort wasn't his real mother either.

The Crown Prince, whom he'd thought was his sworn enemy, had been willing to defy an imperial edict and take a beating for his sake, just so he could have a grand funeral.

Only then did Zhou Linzhao learn that the plentiful provisions he'd always received at the front lines, and the memorials that had practically granted his every request, had all been arranged by the Crown Prince. Even the victories Zhou Linzhao had thought he'd won himself were really the Crown Prince letting him win.

Every day, Zhou Linzhao followed the Crown Prince, now haggard and worn, to and from court. Just as he thought he was doomed to drift around as a lonely ghost for the rest of eternity, he was reborn five years in the past.

Looking at the still-young Crown Prince, who was sternly lecturing him, Zhou Linzhao smiled obediently. "I'll listen to you, Brother Crown Prince."

The Crown Prince's ears instantly turned red. He tried to act composed, but even walked away with his arms and legs moving in sync.

Being reborn came at a price. In his previous life, Zhou Linzhao had been extraordinarily strong and wielded a huge blade with fearsome skill. But after he was reborn, he took an arrow for the Crown Prince, and was fated to be sickly for the rest of his life.

Watching the Crown Prince's back as he cared for him, Zhou Linzhao's lips curled slightly. "If that's how it is, then you won't be getting away from me, Brother Crown Prince."
