Shi Ji's torso crawled out of a garbage heap, then he used discarded parts to assemble a new set of limbs.
By chance, he found an old cellphone. It contained only one mobile game, called Savior.
To pass the time, he casually tapped the app. A pixel-art scroll unfurled, telling the story of a Demon King and a hero...
...But can someone tell him why the protagonist is nearly dead from the start?
Shi Ji stared silently at the pixel character with only a single-digit HP remaining.
Could this be why this phone had been abandoned here, with this as its only app?

Lantis thought he was hallucinating.
The Demon King's army had already breached the city gates, and the palace of Phylos had fallen. This was no longer human territory.
His squad had been ordered to flee with the last prince, but they still hadn't escaped the pursuit of the Four Heavenly Kings, and he was gravely wounded.
At this desperate moment, he actually heard the voice of a god amid the Demon King's army's encirclement.
The god said that if they followed the Savior's instructions, there was hope of escaping alive.
Things couldn't get any worse, so Lantis could only grasp at this last straw and pray silently for a miracle.
Then he heard:
Savior: Battle command [Flee]
Lantis: ...
His Savior seemed a little off.
Please note:
1. CP: Lantis x Shi Ji
A fragmented top, game character x player
2. A slow-burn, no-transmigration story that evolves into a mobile game
Many original settings and personal interpretations, so read with caution if that's not your thing.
3. On hiatus
Theme: Miracles come from a chain of hope
