Wind, Don't Come Again

Gentle, soft-spoken sweetheart x a cocky guy who's all mouth and no bite

The year her father died of cancer, Li Hewei moved with her mother to Shencheng and enrolled at Luyang No. 1 High School.

That year, she was in her second year of high school.

Zhao Jianyao hated people who did everything by the book, but at the most wild and reckless age of his life, he met Li Hewei.

That year, he stayed in his second year of high school.

The last light of day fell into the stairwell. A thin sheen of sweat dampened the boy's white shirt, and a slightly flustered girl appeared in his clear black eyes.

"Excuse me, is the Wensi Building here?"

Zhao Jianyao leaned against the wall, raised an eyebrow, and casually nodded.

Li Hewei thanked him quietly and walked away.

A late-evening breeze swept past.

It blew away the newspaper covering the old sign, revealing the words "Huizhi Building."

Li Hewei stopped and looked at Zhao Jianyao in confusion.

Zhao Jianyao clicked his tongue. Surprisingly, he wasn't angry.

This was where the story began.

Young Master Zhao's usual nastiness was like throwing a punch at a soft cloud.

Later, Li Hewei opened his memo app.

"Little Sprout, I'm still holding on."

"I want to hold on long enough to come home and see you."

"I'll keep trying to hold on."

"Little Sprout, I dreamed about you today."

"..."

"I'm sorry. I don't think I can hold on until I see you."

"Little Sprout, I love you."

#If you knew it was doomed, would you still choose to confess your love?#

Li Hewei's answer was [Yes]

#There is no fixed, conventional ending for two people. Having loved each other is the best ending they could have.#
