Campus Fiction
Facing the darkness alone takes courage, but what you long for even more is rain when everything has dried up. When she was young, Su Maitong knew she had her own ray of sunshine, named Xu Yanqing. Whenever she was hurt, he would tell her that he would always be there and always stay by her side. She believed him.
As she grew up, no matter what happened, she would instinctively look toward Xu Yanqing. But he had disappeared.
In the second semester of her first year of high school, the cherry blossoms bloomed, but blood stained their pink petals. He vanished, and she fell.
She met him in the first week after transferring to a new school in her final year of high school. She made three new friends, and then, somehow, he barged into her new life.
He thought he loved Su Maitong, but that love had already changed into something else. Beneath the cage of love lay the responsibility of family ties. After she left, he found a love of his own. Once he learned that she was happy, he finally let go completely.
We are always thinking about leaving in silence. Instead, we might as well learn to let go first, and perhaps everything else will fall into place.
