The Socially Anxious Dad Takes Over Childcare on a Variety Show

After becoming pregnant and giving birth, Jiang Huainan went from a rising star to a minor celebrity.

To earn money to raise his child, he takes his son on a parenting reality show.

Jiang Huainan also has social anxiety, so he always comes in last at the games, making his son suffer along with him.

The other families' children say, "Daddy is the best!"

"Kisses for Daddy!"

"I love you, Daddy!"

"Time to get up and eat, sweetheart!"

Meanwhile, on Jiang Huainan's side,

he stands quietly out of frame as his baby cheers him on in front of the camera: "You're the best, baby!"

"Such a good baby!"

"Another day of loving Daddy!"

"Daddy, it's time to eat!"

Pei Angju spots a familiar figure on the parenting show his company invested in, along with a child who looks remarkably like him.

He immediately books a flight to the show's filming location and finally sees with his own eyes the person he's been longing for all these years.

That night, in a deserted corner, Pei Angju pins a trembling Jiang Huainan against the wall. "Long time no see!"

Jiang Huainan suddenly remembers something Pei Angju said years ago: My name has the character Ju in it, and yours is Huainan.

Oranges grown south of the Huai River are sweet. We were made for each other.
