Bonus Scene 1: Just after they get together, He Jingcheng walks Shen Yun home. Shen Yun stands by a clump of canna lilies in the garden and tells He Jingcheng to drive carefully.

He Jingcheng takes a step toward him, until their shadows overlap and they can no longer tell them apart. "I thought you'd go soft and let me stay the night, even if I had to sleep on the couch."

The canna lilies sway gently in the breeze. Shen Yun looks up and replies considerately, "The couch isn't long enough. I was afraid you'd wake up with a stiff neck."

He Jingcheng refuses to give up. "I can sleep on the floor instead."

Shen Yun presses his lips together. "Mr. He, if you get too much sweetness all at once, I'm afraid you won't be able to handle it."

He Jingcheng can't help laughing. "You're right. We have all the time in the world. I'm not asking for just one night, but for a lifetime with you."

Bonus Scene 2: Shen Yun has been working overtime for days. He Jingcheng can't catch him, and finally gives in, using his position as the boss as an excuse to visit and check on him.

In front of the others, he has to maintain the distance between a superior and a subordinate, so he can only say in a restrained voice, "Director Shen, thank you for helping shoulder my burdens. You've worked hard."

Only after everyone else has left does He Jingcheng draw close and whisper, "If I hadn't come, you'd almost have forgotten about me. Don't you miss me even a little?"

Shen Yun doesn't answer. He simply says, "Come walk by the lake with me."

They go to the artificial lake in the company park. He Jingcheng stands some distance away, but Shen Yun takes a step sideways to fill the space between them, leaving only half an arm's length.

He Jingcheng turns to look at him. "Aren't you worried someone will find out, standing so close?"

Shen Yun stands with his hands behind his back and lifts his chin. "Why should I be? I have nothing to hide."

"Oh?" He Jingcheng doesn't sound convinced. "And what are you so aboveboard about?"

Shen Yun turns to meet He Jingcheng's gaze, smiles faintly, and says softly, "I'm aboveboard about helping you with your burdens, and about thinking of you in my heart."
