Saving the Corrupted Demon King [Reborn]

A reborn, devoted, self-effacing Demon King gong x a reborn, slightly sharper-than-before silly beauty shou

The shou used to be an obscure cannon-fodder character, a beauty sent to the gong by a sect trying to curry favor with him. When the gong wiped out the sect, he casually strangled the shou to death.

But the shou's soul didn't vanish. Instead, he became a spirit with only one of his three hun and none of his seven po, floating beside the gong.

During that time, the gong gradually discovered the misunderstandings he'd once had, the things he'd never known, and the history of their bond. Overcome with remorse, he used every means at his disposal to turn back time.

The gong and shou got another chance.

The shou was still an inconspicuous cannon-fodder character, but now he had memories of his impending death and knew clearly who would kill him.

The gong was still the cold and merciless Demon King, but he had inherited the power he possessed before reincarnation and was at his peak from the start.

But this time, things were different.

The shou thought he was in a story about working hard to improve himself, change his fate, and escape death.

The gong thought he was in a romance about cuddling up with his wife by a warm hearth.
