Silk-Black Hair, Still Unfinished

Shen Xu He died in a warm patch of sunlight at the age of twenty-six.

Looking back at the end, over those twenty-six long years, that beautiful sunshine brought many people into her life, and took many people away.

She met you at seven, married you at fifteen, became your empress at nineteen, and left you at twenty-six.

This is a very simple story. The fourth daughter born to a concubine in the Chancellor's residence just got incredibly lucky and became empress.

It is also a very complicated story, full of twists and turns, with each person carrying their own sorrow and pain.

Perhaps after reading it, you'll find peace, feel regret, laugh, or cry.

But thank you for listening to Shen Xu He's story.
