Synopsis One:
After accidentally getting caught in a cosmic storm, Helai was amazed to discover that he'd ended up in an unfamiliar universe, becoming one of the "unlucky ones" selected for a game and made to fight for the future of their species.
Everyone would be randomly assigned a planet, then do whatever it took to complete the objective. The winner would receive abundant resources and a chance for their species to ascend.
And this time, the challenge was: [Build a planet that's habitable and suitable for tourism].
Helai looked at the planet he'd been assigned, which was ninety-nine percent desert. The only thing worth mentioning was the mineral wealth buried underground. He fell into deep thought.
Helai, the Mechanical Emperor, natural disaster, with absolutely no concept of "habitable": Is there something you don't understand about me?
Synopsis Two:
The Metaverse.
In this universe of three powers standing against one another... No, two sides facing off, with a third here to make up the numbers, the third party, officially known as the "Alliance for the Shared Progress and Development of All Races" and shortened to the "Common Alliance," was having a hard time.
The reason was that their two "neighbors" were fighting. They were genuinely worried that they'd get caught in the crossfire one day and could simply declare themselves extinct.
So they were tense. They were on guard. Every nerve was stretched tight. Then they discovered... nobody was paying them the slightest bit of attention.
The first year of the war: twenty-four-hour shifts, all weapons primed, fingers always hovering over the buttons for high-risk weapons.
The tenth year of the war: two shifts. They could even go out for a stroll now and then. They were still on guard, but the energy-hungry weapons had been put on standby.
The hundredth year of the war: eight-hour workdays. They ate when they were hungry and slept when they were tired. They even had time to gossip on the Star Network about how long the fighting had gone on, and whether anything had come of it.
They'd figured it out. As long as neither side retreated, they were completely safe. With their paltry resources, they weren't even worth a bite to the two bigwigs playing the build-up-your-army game. So they settled into their routine of slacking off, until one day they got a message:
One side's leader, a certain Mechanical Emperor... had gone missing.
Common Alliance: ???
Common Alliance: !!!
Help, help, help, help!
Just as they were panicking and preparing for the worst, another message came in:
The other side's leader, a certain Zerg Overlord, had gone missing too... No, wait, he'd gone off to look for someone.
Common Alliance: ...I think you're messing with us, but I have no proof.
Tips:
1. The whole story is serious in tone. The CP is the two emperors: enemies who fall in love.
2. This story won't be abandoned. The regular update time is 9 a.m. every day. If anything comes up, I'll ask for leave in advance.
Theme: World peace depends on everyone's efforts.
