2. I promise not to demonize characters indiscriminately. The only villain is the completely unhinged V. The beloved diary won't be sacrificed, and there will be lots of adorable little animals.
3. This is a one-on-one romance, with the professor as the love interest and the protagonist as the bottom. The protagonist isn't all-powerful or saintly. He just gets irritable now and then. He thinks he's fairly calm, selfish, and scheming, but he's really just an ordinary little dumpling, reasonably kind, and possessed of normal human sympathy.
