After My Black-Lotus Junior Brother Set His Sights on Me

Yun Sheng is the most unremarkable disciple in her sect. Her spiritual root was destroyed when she was young, and with no one to rely on, she has endured scorn and mistreatment. Her fellow disciple Shen Zhuqi, by contrast, was born a heaven-blessed genius, adored by everyone and hailed as the top swordsman on the Azure Cloud Rankings, a prodigy beyond dispute. They should have had nothing to do with each other. That is, until Yun Sheng catches her famously noble and refined junior casually snapping someone's neck. Crimson blood spatters his jade-white face, leaving him looking sinister and terrifying. The worse news: Her junior will one day destroy the entire sect and leave no survivors. Yun Sheng: ...Is there still time to get on his good side? - Ever since Yun Sheng accidentally discovered Shen Zhuqi's secret, he has been watching her. In the darkness, the gaze fixed on her is cold and sinister, brimming with possessiveness. At first, Yun Sheng spends every day figuring out how to stay alive at his hands. Then she accidentally discovers that Shen Zhuqi seems never to have been close to anyone. When he accidentally brushes against her skin, he can't suppress his excitement and shivers. ...Staying alive seems to have gotten a little easier. After that, the gaze fixed on her changes. It is no longer a condescending inspection, but something tangible, winding around her. Darker and deeper with every passing day. Yun Sheng grows frightened and tries to use an opportunity to escape. But he won't let her. - In a warm chamber draped with mermaid silk, golden bells chime at her ankles. Snow falls softly. A single lamp glows, lighting Yun Sheng's pale face. The breath falling on her skin is scorching. Shen Zhuqi runs his fingers over the bite marks on her thigh, his gaze feverishly infatuated. "Senior Sister, didn't you promise to stay with me forever?" The young man leans closer, his trembling hand, trembling with excitement, stroking her face. "Then let us be entangled together for all eternity." Reader's Guide: 1.
