The Little Crown Prince Is Being Cute Again

That day, the Child-Rearing System bound itself to the wrong target.

The Host it selected: the founding emperor, rich and spoiled

The actual Host: the founding emperor's little crown prince, just six years old.

What can a six-year-old even do?

The Child-Rearing System nearly self-destructed, deciding it might as well sleep for a decade or two first.

Meanwhile, the six-year-old Host received a candied fruit from his mother.

[Child-Rearing Points +1]

System: !!!

System: Hooray, I'm back in business!

At first, Yan Qiong refused to act cute.

The Grand Tutor said that as crown prince of the realm, he had to be dignified and proper, never showing his emotions.

But Big Brother System said that acting cute could encourage his father and mother to dote on him more, and Child-Rearing Points could get his father effective solutions for controlling floods, labor-saving farming tools, and even high-yield grain seeds...

Yan Qiong: All right, but acting cute is so hard.

Yan Qiong furrowed his brow and thought hard for a moment.

The next day, his father carried him around the imperial garden, his mother made his favorite hibiscus cakes, his brothers built snowmen with him, his sisters brought him toys from outside the palace, and the imperial consorts sent over the finest fabric they'd been saving for special occasions.

Watching the Child-Rearing Points shoot up, the System was baffled: ???

Yan Qiong: Maybe it's not that hard after all...

As Yan Qiong grew up, he gradually learned the joy of being doted on and came to understand a certain truth:

If I turn Father Emperor, Mother Empress, my brothers and sisters, and the imperial consorts into powerful figures, they'll have even more money and treasures to spoil me with!
