[This novel will have irregular updates for now. I’ll come back to fill in the gaps once I’ve sorted things out.]
After staying up all night binge-watching dramas, Gu Qing transmigrates into the body of a little immortal working in the Immortal Realm’s spirit plant garden. She spends her days studying immortal arts and teasing spirit beasts, happily slacking off.
Then one day, the System brings her back to the cultivation world and tells her through tears that this is a story about a powerful yet tragic male lead who overcomes countless trials to finally achieve enlightenment and ascend.
Her mission is to maintain stability in the cultivation world and help the chosen male lead open the path to heaven.
Gu Qing, freshly yanked down from the Immortal Realm: ...All right, since I’m here anyway...
But the System, forced into a hasty shutdown due to insufficient energy, failed to notice that the novel’s male lead wouldn’t be born for another three thousand years. So...
When the future villain, a great demon who will wreak havoc across the land, is abandoned by his sect and shunned by everyone around him:
Gu Qing: Bye, then. The next one will be better. Rejecting sect-induced guilt trips starts with every cultivator!
The great demon villain: Junior Sister Gu makes a good point!
When the mermaid princess, who will later mercilessly slaughter an immortal sect, is about to have her people wiped out and enslaved by a scumbag:
Gu Qing: There are plenty of fish in the sea. Why pine for one scumbag? Why give up the whole forest for a crooked tree?
The mermaid princess: I’ll do whatever Big Sister Gu says!
When the frail sect leader, who will one day cultivate evil arts to steal others’ talents, is exploited by his family for their own fortune:
Gu Qing: Only by enduring hardship can you rise above the rest. True powerhouses dare to face their destiny!
The frail sect leader: Great minds think alike. To find a kindred spirit like you is all I need.
Just then:
[ Ding! An irreversible incident has been detected at Qingyun Sect, an important plot location. To maintain stability in the cultivation world, Host must complete the mission "Establish the super sect Qingyun Sect." Note: This mission cannot be abandoned! ]
Gu Qing, forced to get down to business: ???
The newly awakened System: !!!
Reader's guide:
1. The male lead is not mentioned in the blurb and appears a little later.
2. Early on, after leaving the secret realm, she travels around to build up her resources. Sect-building begins in the middle.
Theme: Be independent and strong, and never give up!
I'll update it later today. If it's too late, I'll update two chapters tomorrow.
I will stop updating for one day and will resume tomorrow night. I will take the time to add another chapter later.
