The Villain Can't Be Won Over

Tan Wanghe is the villain through and through. He destroys the male lead's family business, forcing him to leave home and live apart from the woman he loves. As for the story's gentle and kindhearted heroine, Tan locks her away in a remote, deserted castle.

Tan Wanghe knows nothing of love. He is a born madman, a demon from hell. The only reason he ruins the leads' happy ending is that he takes genuine pleasure in watching them love each other yet remain apart.

Yu Chan's mission is simple:

Rescue the heroine from the castle.

Achieve the happy ending: "Live happily ever after."

The first time, Yu Chan leads the heroine out through a ventilation duct. Before they can even glimpse the sky outside, they are frightened by the sinister smile of the boy waiting at the exit. They successfully achieve the bad ending: "Forever Apart."

The second time, Yu Chan lies low in the castle for days, learning every route to the outside world before leading the heroine in another escape attempt. After being trapped in the maze for days and left at death's door, she sees the boy slowly approaching with a mocking smile. They successfully achieve the bad ending: "Starved to Death in the Castle."

After repeated failures, Yu Chan tries another approach: she'll win over that bastard!

After Yu Chan puts her whole heart into it (or rather, swallows her grievances and does everything she can), she finally leads the heroine out of the castle!

The boy's face turns deathly pale. He stares expressionlessly at Yu Chan's joyful smile on the monitor, his beautiful eyes filled with the cruel embers left by jealousy.

Just as Yu Chan is overjoyed, thinking the leads can live happily together, the System, silent for years, breaks down in tears.

"The villain has captured the male lead!"

Reader's guide:

1. One-on-one romance, both sexually inexperienced.

2. The male lead is a complete psycho, a total lunatic!

3. The male lead never loved the heroine in the book. He only likes Yu Chan.
