Kaito Kuroba, the second-generation Kaito Kid, was caught up in a strange phenomenon while fighting the Organization Zoo over Pandora, a gem said to grant eternal life.
When he regained consciousness, Kaito was surprised to find that he was no longer in familiar Tokyo, and all that remained of his magic props was his usual deck of playing cards.
And what's more, his playing cards had come to life.

Looking at the petite pink-haired girl, the lanky man with a mount, the elegant young gentleman dressed as if heading to a formal dinner, and the person of unknown gender wrapped tightly in bandages, Kaito was utterly bewildered.
Kaito: No, wait! What's going on here? Can someone send me back first?
To find Pandora, lost in another world, and a way home, Kaito Kid once again donned his white suit and appeared beneath the moonlit night sky. But... why was everything getting more and more out of hand?
Scene one: Helping an old lady cross the street
Kaito Kid and Nakahara Chuuya rushed toward the old lady at the same time. They each took one of her arms and helped her up, then warily exchanged glances.
Kaito Kid: How despicable! The Port Mafia is trying to hurt an old lady!
Nakahara Chuuya: How dare this thief try to hurt an old lady!
Scene two:
Dazai Osamu stood by the river, gazing contentedly at the water. "Ah, this clear water is perfect for a dip. No time like the present..."
Before he could finish, just as his body tilted sixty degrees, a white shadow scooped him up into the air and carried him to shore.
Dazai could only stare expressionlessly at Kaito Kid, already flying away, and grit his teeth.
Not long afterward, the mayor of Yokohama named Kaito Kid an "Honorary Citizen" of the year, but the moonlit magician never showed up to accept the award.
Kaito Kuroba: Wait, does this make any sense?
Reader advisory:
1. Kaito is the protagonist. Third-person narration, no pairing. Primarily Bungou Stray Dogs, with a little Magic Kaito and Detective Conan (Bungou Stray Dogs and the other two do not take place in the same world). A slice-of-life leaning story.
2. Updates will be daily once the story begins. The blurb still needs revision.
3. In this story, the four people manifested by the playing cards are Kaito's abilities.
