[Cool, mature human top * beautiful, well-behaved cat bottom]

When Yu Jinshu was little, she encountered a cat: a pure-white Lionhead cat, less than six months old, with a unique pair of odd-colored eyes. It had a sweet appearance, and though it was filthy all over, its astonishing beauty still shone through.

The kitten was too weak to stand a chance in a fight. One careless moment, and a bigger cat shoved it into the middle of the road.

That year, Yu Jinshu was eleven. She saved the little Lionhead cat with her right leg.

On the day of the first snow, Baitong was patrolling the grass by the roadside, keeping an eye on her territory, when she suddenly spotted a familiar face through the glass door across the street.

She was a beautiful human woman in a black coat, with skin whiter than snow, striking features, and a slender figure.

Unfortunately, she walked with a limp.

The woman hadn't been born disabled. She had lost the use of her leg saving a cat:

A stray Lionhead cat.

A car honked at the roadside, and scattered fragments of memory surged through Baitong's mind.

The woman's face perfectly overlapped with the face of the girl from ten years ago.

Baitong meowed, then stretched out her limbs and darted nimbly through the traffic. Just before the woman got into her car, Baitong threw herself down at her feet, as if staging a fake accident.

As a carefree cat, Baitong had never envied humans.

Until she watched her benefactor die right in front of her, and could do nothing at all.

As she lay dying, she thought, If only I were human.

At least then, I'd be able to protect my benefactor.

Baitong was reborn.

Perhaps Heaven had heard her wish. In this life, she really could turn into a human.

She still had to repay the kindness she hadn't been able to return in her previous life.

Only, somewhere along the way, that repayment changed into something else.

On the morning after a night of drinking, Baitong struggled to open her eyes. When she recognized the woman beside her, naked beneath the sheets, her face turned bright red.

She'd only wanted a human body so she could protect her benefactor. How had she ended up sharing a bed with her?
