Also known as: The Ship That Shines by Night.
At the end of the Edo period, extraterrestrials known as the Celestials invaded Earth. But thanks to the personal planning of the shogun at the time, the war to expel the foreigners turned in Earth's favor. The planet regained its glory and united like never before. The Tokugawa shogunate, hailed as the world's great hope, announced plans to build the most powerful spaceship ever, named the Nightglow.
Meanwhile, undercurrents stirred among the people. The rakugo performer Yoshino Tsuyu made her entrance with the demon sword Hyakki Maru, exposing the illusion of peace. Sakata Gintoki was astonished to discover that this woman had close ties with all four of the Joui Four. But he couldn't help wondering: Why are the other three her almost-online-boyfriend, ex-husband, and ex-boyfriend, while I'm the one stuck with the enemy role?!
Crossover: Gintama, Land of the Lustrous, Bungo Stray Dogs, Demon Slayer, Level E, and NIJISANJI VTubers.
Note: Many characters have one-sided feelings for the female lead. It's Mary Sue, so don't read if that's not your thing.
Theme: I know this world is as fleeting as dew, and yet, and yet.
In terms of my fandom, the only one among the Four Heroes that I don't want to be a prostitute and just want to be friends is Takasugi. The other three have some ideas. As for Takasugi, I always feel that being a family member will be much happier than being a lover, so I always look at Takasugi based on the mentality of his family members.
